Some of the local housing in Guian. The stilts have two reasons: for one, it's a protection against floods, but apparently they hold up well in earthquakes, too!

Poor country... Philippines. It sad to say, this house reminds me of my younger days. I live in a place like this yesteryears. but anyhow, i'm proud from where i am before coz it made me a responsible human being. My humble beginning urge me to serve people. Thus, my accomplishment with the red cross marks a special place in my heart.
