 The Johore Baru Experience  ohore Baru is a city in Malaysia. It's just beyond the border from Singapore. Everyone says "You gotta go there - at least once" - so I did. Well, to tell you the truth, I unterstand the "once" part, but not the "gotta go" one. After the incredible hassle of actually getting there, the place is really dirty, hot as hell and the people are not exactly friendly, either. They have shopping malls there (same as in Singapore, only dirtyer), streets and all that - so I don't see what's the big deal about this place. The prices are a little lower, but that doesn't make it much better...The only interesting thing I saw was this colorful temple. Take a look: 'Nuff said.
